Happy Hour Hero Tabs drawn by Chuck

A pint of beer and a pretty girl...a pack of Camel Lights
Another night, another bar...green neon lights
Smoke acts as a camouflage for every lizard with a line
Forget about the pretty girl...a Saranac* will do just fine

A pint of beer and a shot of Jack...a pack of Camel Lights
Some days don't see the day and some don't see the night
Damn barstool wobbles, ain't no footrest at the bar
When I pass through my water glass I can, I can see who you are

Chorus (Repeated 2x):
    One more bottle
    One more bottle
One more bottle for this happy hour hero

A pint of beer and a pretty girl...a pack of Camel Lights
Sweaty little men worship those Southern girls in tights
And we keep on playin' the songs that no one wants to hear
Sweaty little man just shot a hundred-dollar bill without a care

And we play from ten to two, but we work from noon to four
Try to make a guarantee, try to make points on the door**
No one tells us what to do, no one tells us where to go
One more bottle for this happy hour hero

(Chorus Repeated 2x - Vocal Jam)

And Charlotte's a long way to go, just to show 'em what you got
And I hear it's worth the trip...the room gets burning hot
Let me jot down one more thing, just one more thing before I go
One more bottle for this happy hour hero
One more bottle for this happy hour hero
One more bottle for this happy hour hero
One more bottle for this happy hour hero
One more bottle for this happy hour, this happy hour hero

*Saranac is a brand of beer, brewed and distributed in upstate New York.

**As in trying to make a percentage of the money paid at the door.

Just another example of why Chuck is the coolest. A fan asked him about how to play HHH, so he sent this to me to put up here. Thanks Chuck!
"Thanks to Matt Daley for asking!
I play 3 chords like this."

"The X on the top means you don't play the string, and the O means that string is played "open", - not fretted at all, but ringing.
The little hand denotes T=thumb, I=Index, M=middle, R=Ring finger, P=pinky.

The dotted mark in the A chord is where i slide my pinky up where rob sings:
"A pint of ALE and a...."
I play the next fret with my pinky on "ALE", and I am back to the normal A chord by the time he says the next word - "and". This happens at the same spot whenever the A chord is played (on the third beat of that measure ).
The G chord is just how I normally play a G, adding the D on that second string.
The weird chord ("pack o' camel lights....") is another thing that I do in several of our songs, cause I like "out of the ordinary" sounding chords. I play the F sharp with my thumb over the top of the neck and let the two high strings ring open.
keep on pickin'!"

Rob:

The lyrics for this song have changed so many times, I don't even know if I'm happy with them yet.  If you live in bars long enough you don't have much else to write about.
